A Scene of Serenity Produced by Shinshu Watch Studio
Crafted by the Shinshu Watch Studio based in Shiojiri in Japan’s Shinshu region, the dial is inspired by the theme of “the moon drifting through clouds.” Nanoparticle metal multilayering technology*1 is used to express the clouds spreading across the dial’s surface and stars shimmering from within. The variations in intensity and gradation of colour create a distinctive sense of depth and shifting light, evoking slender clouds crossing a clear autumn sky and moonlight filtering through the gaps between them. New Moon Phase Display with Three-layered Construction
The moon phase display visible through the clouds on the dial features a new, patent-pending three-layered construction comprising a lustrous metal plate adorned with scattered stars against the backdrop of a night sky, a mother-of-pearl moon motif plate, and a moon phase drive wheel. The unique iridescence of the mother-of-pearl is used to exquisitely portray the moon’s gentle radiance.

The in-house calibre F8A62 is a slim hand-winding movement with moon phase and power reserve displays, equipped with an in-house silicon escape wheel that offers over 70 hours of power reserve. The movement features a carefully designed bridge shape that allows the blue escape wheel, Geneva stripes evoking star trails, and a crescent-shaped window to be viewed through the see-through caseback, reflecting meticulous attention to detail throughout.
